45th Wanderpokal 2010 Tournament Rules
The tournament rules are intended for the safety and the enjoyment of the participants in addition to the preservation of Wanderpokal Tournament integrity. Every player, team coach, team manager, team personnel, and team supporter is expected to adhere to these rules. In addition all players, coaches, and team managers are asked to display the utmost respect for the game and the decisions of the REFEREES throughout the Tournament.
2009 Wanderpokal Local Organizing Committee (LOC) will fully enforce the "age limits" for each division. Age violators and illegal (ineligible) players will be dismissed from further participation. In case of a win or tie, the game shall be declared a FORFIT and the opponent will be awarded a score of 1-0 and three points. In case of a win for the opposing team, the score shall remain as reported by the referee. Furthermore, the 2009 Wanderpokal LOC reserves the right to levy further sanction on the violating team regardless of the circumstances.
- Age divisions are: Over 35 years of age, Over 45, Over 55 years of age, and Over 60 years of age. Players age will be verified electronically by LOC at the sign-in on Friday night or Saturday morning before the first game for each team.
- No under age players are allowed in any of the age brackets.
- All team managers will submit their player roster on Friday night, or before by mail, prior to the pre-tournament all managers meeting for player age verification and to receive the necessary information and the event schedule. All players are required to be present at the check-in and are requested to have their valid ID (Drivers License or Passport) in their possession on the field in case any question arises regarding the age. Players are requested to check-in on Friday night or One hour prior to their first game kickoff. NO roster changes will be permitted after the initial sign-in.
- A team may register up to 20 players (limit).Each player MUST play on the team with which he has registered. One team only.
- Every player must sign a liability waiver to be able to participate in the Tournament. The LOC will have the right to deny participation in case of incomplete or missing liability waiver by a participant.
Playing Rules
- Duration of ALL games will be 60 minutes (2X30) with a 5 minutes Half-time break. Tie games in this round will be declared tie. Three points will be awarded for each win and one point for each tie. Tiebreakers to determine the group winners will be goal differential, goals for, game against each other, and coin toss respectively.
- The winner will be determined by FIFA kicks from the penalty mark in case of a tie at the end of 60 minutes in semi-final or the final game.
- Losers of the semifinal games in each age division will directly go to the FIFA kicks from the mark at the conclusion of the semifinal game to determine the 3 rd place Tournament finishers.
- Teams are allowed unlimited substitution with re-entry at any stoppage with the permission from the referee.
- Each team must have two differently colored sets of game shirts in their possession on the field. Team listed first on the tournament schedule will have to change to their alternate shirts in case of color conflict with the opposing team. Every team is expected to be in matching uniform (shirt, short, stocking). Shin-guards are MANDATORY and will be enforced by every referee in the Tournament.
- Any player who has been sent off (Red Card) will be suspended for the subsequent game. Further sanction(s) against the player or the team will be determined by the LOC.
- The LOC will review all the matters of serious nature at the end of each game-day to implement the necessary sanctions against any player, coach, manager, or a team supporter.
- The referees decisions are final and the LOC will not accept any protest regarding the referee decisions during the entire Tournament.
